Marcel My Grandpa who recently went to be with Jesus. A man loved by all and a great influence to the people around him. This piece is obviously dear to my heart, and I'm enjoying it displayed on my own wall...he did get to see a photo of the finished canvas which makes me happy.
I have been designing for Hope Empowered for over a year now and this artwork would probably be one of my favourite pieces so far. I wish you could feel the stock online, its so nice! Had fun getting the camera out again too, its been awhile and big thanks to Michelle Hoomans for her modelling talent.
The Cross was inspired by a verse in the bible (Romans 8:1-2),
So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. For the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you.
The words creating the cross represents sin which seperates us from God. However the blood of Jesus covers this sin and we are now free which is represented with the butterfly signifying 'new life'
Hope City Church required a photo of Brisbane City with their title spelt out using sparklers, to be used for their marketing material. Working alongside emerging photographer Karina Otto, after several fun experiments and sixteen sparklers we achieved the desired shot using one photo, one sparkler, one photographer and one assistant!
This piece was a gift for my wife. The art is representing all the things that I love. The objects are coming out of a Rivella bottle, a Swiss drink drank by my mum while she was pregnant with me. I've always told her, that is what I'm made of!
Inspired and based on photographs taken while touring Japan. I wanted to showcase my trip in a different medium than photographs, so I produced these artworks. Prints can be purchased from tsc-art.com
With this file I wanted to build a something that was more than just another banner rotator. It needed to incorporate good design, be versatile, and easy to use—that in mind the Gotham Narrow Banner Rotator offers 4 different actions (link, download, enlarge, and play a video), is 100% skin-able through XML , can load every file type you can throw at it (gif, png, swf, jpg), and has multiple navigation modes for further customization.
Whether you’re in need of a new banner rotator, want to showcase your latest video, or you’re looking for a way to present your latest portfolio the Gotham Narrow Banner Rotator & Image Viewer is a perfect solution.
The Before & After Image Viewer is a unique flash application that allows you to place two images on top of each other, and by selecting the slider-bar the viewer can hide and reveal each image allowing both images to be compared without placing them side be side.
I built the Before & After image viewer with the intent to help showcase a recent makeover (before and after), to aid in comparing two products, highlighting photoshop skills (untouched and photoshopped image), or to simply use it to communicate a message in a dynamic way.
Just about everything in this flash application is customizable through the use of flashVars: Title, description, horizontal or vertical bar, solid or faded bar, colors, positioning, the images, etc. This means no flash or actionscript knowledge is required. In fact you can use the file without ever opening the FLA (unless of course you wanna get your hands into the source).
The Before & After Image Viewer is also capable of handling just about every file format you can throw at it (jpg, gif, png, swf).
You have this really great idea for a website or a client comes to you and says they need a new site, but it’s going to take a few weeks, months, or maybe even more to get the final product hosted. Meanwhile the client is breathing down your neck to get something up yesterday. You could put up an “under construction” page or a “coming soon” banner, but those flashing gifs with construction barriers are so 1999. What you need is something great; a preview of what’s coming and a timeline to when the new website or product will be launched.
The Coming Soon Under Construction Count Down Template was built to fill the gap between between getting the job and having the final site live. But it’s more than just a placeholder page because you can easily turn this micro site into a mini portfolio or product showcase with image gallery, video, and mp3 player. It also comes with an alternate mobile web page for any iPhone users that visit your site.
The nice part about this file is you won’t even need to open flash. By editing the XML file you can customize everything. The site is a 100% flash and scales to every screen resolution.
Skip the gif hard hats and flashing construction barriers and download a file today that looks expensive and professional.
I admit that there is no better video service on the planet than YouTube, but I also admit that the standard YouTube player is not the prettiest. That’s why I wanted to build a video player that could utilize youtube’s video service, and also be used for video files you host on you own webserver… and so this player was born.
It’s built to utilize flashvars for all the settings so you need only upload the SWF file once and then just pass vars to it to reuse it over and over. The player can also be customized by specifying certain settings that change the colors, and what’s displayed. In short there’s now a great YouTube player that you can tailor to fit your website and still utilize YouTube’s amazing video service.
Supports h.264, flv, mov, mp4, m4v, and f4v. Adaptively adjust video quality based on your connection and display size, and it utilizes the new stage video feature in flash player 10.2 to increase performance (flash player 10.2 not required though for playback). this file also includes iPhone and mobile device fallback.

In this digital age, there is something special about handmade art. The great thing about art, is that there are no limits. Whether you need a feature wall for your cafe, need some poster, album or tshirt artwork or just need a canvas for your home or as a gift, I would love to be part of your project. The creative process always starts with a coffee, to get to know you more and to listen to what you need on your blank space. If you have a shop or space and would like my art displayed and sold on a commission base, would also love to have a chat.

My fondest childhood memories of drawing trucks everyday at the age of 5 and winning a colouring in competition in year 2 are benchmarks for my passion towards art. Also being a grandson of a telented fine artist, art was always going to be in my blood. Receiving an average of 97% for my 3 art pieces in year 12, I knew I would be pursuing art.
Deciding to study Visual Communication at The University of South Australia was a great direction to begin my design career. Forming my graphic design business Loud Whisper with Matthew Daniell at the age of 24, was and continues to be a huge learning curve in managing a business.
Aside from managing and working for Loud Whisper, art is still a passion, stirring the creatives inside. I have been experimenting with different styles and mediums since a very young age, currently working with acrylic, ink and watercolour. My motto is,
to see the face of art and design changed to unpollute the visual world so I can breathe again.
One of my more recent pieces is part of the Skate Deck Series using new and used skateboards, will be exhibited and up for sale in the near future.
To inspire and promote emerging artists, I have an art blog artdesignandstuff.com
Short term dream is to have an exhibition with a difference showcasing my skate deck series, and long term to have a permanent art shop showcasing emerging artists with great talent.
